Before, during & after pregnancy…

 

Before I began tracking macros I always thought I had to eat only chicken and veggies if I wanted to lose weight.

I would feel guilty if I ate anything that was "bad".

As a result, I would make myself go to the gym or not eat the rest of the day to convince myself I made up for my indulgence.

I was hard on myself about my body and how I looked. Never satisfied. Something I struggled with from a young age.

I began this process to lose weight not knowing the knowledge I would gain.

I began tracking and EVERYTHING changed!

I was no longer afraid to eat the foods I enjoy, no longer labeling them as "bad". I learned the scale helps to track my progress but does not determine it. I have learned to view food as fuel for my body and to help make it strong! I have tracked my macros for almost two years (and this timeline includes my entire first pregnancy).

During my pregnancy, I had ZERO morning sickness, a healthy weight gain and the energy to continue my workout routine. I felt relatively good throughout the whole nine months and I credit that all to having a good nutrition routine already in place.

Since giving birth 9 months ago I have stayed on track and am currently below my pre-pregnancy weight and loving the skin I'm in.

One of my biggest fears was what would happen to my body after having kids. I’m happy to say it is better and stronger than ever!

Chelsea has been a great coach through it all. She is very knowledgeable and there to help any time you ask. She is a great cheerleader and is excited for every victory as much as you are. Thanks to her I'm no longer afraid to eat , I no longer play the comparison game , and have more confidence than I ever have.
